Miles For Smiles Toledo
May 2nd, 2009Dr. Tohme and the entire Toledo Periodontics staff are proud to announce the successful launch of the first annual Miles for Smiles 5K run/walk that took place at Olander Park in Sylvania Ohio on May 2, 2009.
Over 700 participants in the greater Toledo area ran and walked to raise more than $50,000 which will be awarded to the Dental Center of Northwest Ohio, a nonprofit organization that has provided primary oral health services for underserved Northwest Ohio children, adults and seniors since 1910.
The Northwest Ohio dental community along with their extended dental “families” came together for a day of fun, fitness and fundraising to support this worthy cause.
